Souvenirs at the Vasa castle

Our souvenir shop is opening June 9 in the mighty entrance of the Vasaborgen (Vasa Castle). In these old ruins you’ll be able to find everything from the classic Uppsala souvenirs to designs by Emelie Ek and beautiful blankets made by Kerstin Landström. We want to help you find the perfect item for a friend or loved, or for yourself to keep as a memory of your visit to this amazing city.

Even if what you want is a Dala horse you will be able to find that here! We are hoping to offer a wide assortment of gifts that will cater to any visitors you’d like to spoil and introduce to a lovely, cosy atmosphere. It’s the perfect ending to a city tour of Uppsala or as a stop on the way to another destination. Grab lunch in Cajsa’s kitchen that is just opposite, or why not go on an exciting roof walk on the castle roof?

Vasaborgen is open every day from the start of summer break and until school starts again in the end of August, but also during weekends after that. You can always book private tours or guided walks for your company or school class.

The amazing halls upstairs are usually booked for weddings and events. If you are looking for a cool place to do an event, photoshoot or ad, or something in that vein, you shouldn’t hesitate to get in touch with us, so we can get you one of the most impressive ruins in Uppsala.
You are always welcome!
